【Principle】
This test kit applies magnetic bead method to extract viral nucleic acid from oropharyngeal swab or fecal specimens. It uses a pair of specific primers and a specific fluorescent probe designed for the relatively conserved region of enterovirus genome, matched with RT-PCR reaction solution to realize the rapid detection of human enterovirus RNA through Real-time PCR detection and high efficiency internal standard technologies.
【Intended use】
Enteroviruses, with a total of 71 serotypes including Poliovirus, Coxsackievirus, ECHO virus and new type Enterovirus can cause a variety of infectious diseases such as poliomyelitis, hand foot mouth disease, aseptic meningitis, herpangina, viral myocarditis and epidemic chest pain, etc., and severe cases can be life threatening. This test kit is used for qualitative detection of specific RNA nucleic acid fragments of enterovirus in human oropharyngeal swab and fecal specimens. Clinically, it is mainly used for auxiliary diagnosis of enterovirus infection.
